Brisbane
In Brisbane, restaurants are not required to have toilets. And the nearest public facilities are not designed to cope with the numbers of patrons from nearby cafes and so on. One cubical. For guys attending half a dozen cafes and half a dozen restaurants .... And it is occupied by a guy reading a newspaper.
Arrived in Brisbane
Already hit a snag with accommodation bookings not matching with flights. So quarter of an hour passes while a room is found for me for tonight.

Draft chapter on passport system
The draft chapter is beginning to come together, finally. A couple of *months* have gone into trying to rework the conclusion and the discussion preceding it. Beginning to make sense now, in context of the new old new direction of the overall thesis; and the new new old approach to getting it done.
